About Me & The Spice Lore Table

My name is Appy, and The Spice Lore Table started as and idea for a creative outlet. I've always loved making things with my hands—I've dabbled in painting, woodworking, and even some very terrible pottery—but cooking is where I truly found my zen.

Perhaps it's because I've always been surrounded by food and conversations about it. For me, food represents love, connection, and the living stories of people. The creative aspect of cooking has always been deeply intertwined with sharing it, gathering friends and loved ones around the dinner table for lively conversations. I want to bring back that feeling of making new friends over a meal, learning about each other, and building deeper connections.
